What can be better than planning an anniversary trip to the city of romance? My husband would always pamper me with expensive gifts and heartwarming surprises. But this I thought of surprising him with an anniversary trip to Paris. I can’t put his priceless reaction into words when I gave him the Iberia Airlines Reservations two days before our anniversary. I had already packed for him as well as for me earlier only to avoid wasting time. We were all set for our 5th anniversary.
It would have been an incomplete surprise if I had not made a booking for our stay. I made a smart decision while making the Iberia Airlines Reservations as I booked a good hotel in the town as well. Surely my hubby was totally stunned that made me feel on cloud nine.
As soon as we were in Paris, we went to our hotel and got ready to let Paris woo our hearts and souls. The first destination had to be the Eiffel Tower, as it is the iconic attraction of Paris. We took the elevator ride that took us to a height of three hundred meters. On our anniversary night, my better half made a dinner reservation near the Eiffel Tower which was the most romantic time spent in Paris.
I never knew museums can be so elegant until we visited the Louvre, which was all made of a sleek glass in the form of a pyramid. Our visit was totally worth it as I am a huge fan of authentic and historic art and we cloud spot the “Dying Slave” by Michelangelo, “Mona Lisa” by Leonardo Da Vinci and much more.
Montmartre is a huge hill in the northeast part of Paris and has an artistic vibe including world-famous artists’ work like Renoir, Picasso, and Monet. But my attention was grabbed by the Wall of Love that is Montmartre and has “I LOVE YOU” written in 250 languages that too 311 times. We clicked so many pictures near this wall and made the day memorable.
This palace is located in the Lourve Palace where the Queen Catherine de Médicis lived. She was very fond of the garden, flows, flora which would help her relax and have peaceful walks. Not only the Queen lived here but some kings like Henri IV, Louis XIV, and Louis XVI. But, in 1871 lived in this palace. Though it is said the place was burned but the Tuileries Palace remained. The garden is very beautiful and our visit there was quite peaceful.
Notre-Dame-de-Paris is located on the Ile de la Cite and was the iconic symbol for Paris until the Eifell tower was constructed.
Though the monument is under construction as it was damaged because of the wildfire and prevents visits but the tourists love to have a glance at the beauty of the past and are eagerly waiting for it to be ready for the visit. As we were near the place we also thought that it would be no harm to admire the beauty of the under-renovation monument.
Surely our trip included other attractions like Musée d’Orsay, The palace of Versailles, Moulin Rouge, Panthéon. But the most astonishing was Paris’s Sewer tour and the Paris Catacombs that are not very common in any other city. I hope my hubby will remember this anniversary along with the trip. We decided to visit Paris again in the upcoming vacation to appreciate it’s true excellence. We got home by making the Iberia Airlines Reservations for returning to our place and the journey was very relaxing.
